Meet the Team

At Teddy Wilf’s we are incredibly lucky to have a very hard working and dedicated staff team who are committed to creating a positive learning environment where children can thrive. Our Head Office team support each of the Nurseries and regularly pop in to visit and work with the children and practitioners. All of our Supervisors and Managers, and the majority of our Practitioners, are level 3 qualified, or above, which means they have undergone thorough assessment to ensure they are suitable to work with the Early Years age group. We believe in hiring only the very best staff for Teddy Wilf’s and our recruitment process is rigorous to ensure they meet our high standards and expectations.

Our team draws on a wealth of experience from Teachers, Practitioners, Area Managers, Nannies, Childminders and Foster Carers. We have over 100 years of childcare experience between us and many of our Staff are Parents (or even Grandparents!) so we are always on hand to support you.

At Teddy Wilf’s Nurseries children call staff by their first names as we feel this is not only easier for them to learn – but it helps to create a more caring and open relationship. We also welcome Students into our setting from a range of providers including Chichester College and The University of Chichester.

We also have Freddie, our Nursery Dog, who is predominantly based at our Westgate Nursery, but he will visit the other nurseries from time to time. Freddie is a Cairn Terrier, and he lives with Rachael and her family and is used to being around children. Freddie is very well trained and is always up to date with his flea and worming treatments. Freddie spends most of his time in the Office and that is where his bed and food bowl live, but he does enjoy going in to the Rooms for playing and cuddles!
