Thank you for enquiring about our exciting new venture – Teddy Wilf’s @ Witterings!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be opening a pack away pre-school at East Witterings Village Hall (next to St Anne’s Church) this Summer! It will be open Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 3:30pm, 48 weeks per year (closing for two weeks at Christmas, all Bank Holidays and 5 Inset Days per year).  We are hoping to welcome 32 children per session and will be offering 2 Year Funding as well as 3 & 4 Year Old Funding – both Universal (15 Hours) and Extended (30 Hours). 

We will be releasing additional information over the coming weeks including some dates for Open Days so children and their families can come and see the nursery, meet our incredible team and road test some of our amazing new resources. We have launched a Facebook Page for the Nursery so would recommend families follow Teddy Wilf’s at Witterings to keep up to date.

We are accepting Registrations for the new nursery, but we do not yet have a confirmed opening date as we are currently awaiting our Ofsted Registration. We are hoping to launch in time for the start of the Summer Term (Monday 15th April 2024) but it is completely out of our hands at this stage. However, we will keep families updated!

We have released our Fee List and Term Dates for the Summer Term 2024 – however, we have not yet booked any Inset Days so these dates will follow in due course.

Please note – we will not be offering Term Time Only places at Teddy Wilf’s @ Witterings so children will attend throughout the school holidays (except the Christmas Holidays). This means children become settled in a consistent routine and do not have large breaks in their nursery attendance (which they often don’t understand and beg to go in anyway!) and it avoid the unsettled periods following the school holidays. We completely understand this might not be for everyone and we won’t be offended if families would rather choose to send their children elsewhere – but we genuinely believe this is in the children’s best interests. This means that instead of accessing 15 or 30 hours per week over 38 weeks, children would be able to access 12 or 24 hours per week over 48 weeks. That means you loose 3 or 6 hours per week, but gain an additional 10 weeks of childcare per year!

We have attached a little bit of information about Teddy Wilf’s Nurseries, along with our Fee List and Term Dates for Witterings. We have also attached our Formal Registration Form if you would like to register your child to join us. As we are not yet consistently on site at Witterings, all completed Registration Forms should be returned to our Head Office at the address below so they can be processed as soon as possible:
