Shopwyke Lakes Pavilion – Hall Hire

Teddy Wilf’s @ Shopwyke is based in the Shopwyke Lakes Pavilion, Longacres Way, Shopwyke and we operate a hybrid pack away setting which means the Pavilion is available to hire on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Please see below for information about how to book!

The Shopwyke Lakes Pavilion is a bright and airy hall that opens directly on to the Shopwyke Lakes Playing Fields. The building is on the ground floor with full disables access.

The Main Hall measures 7m x 11m and can accommodate up to 150 people for a standing event, 75 for a sit down/meeting and 50 people for an exhibition space. There are 50 folding chairs available to hirers, along with 10 folding tables (180cm (W) x 70cm (D) x 74cm (H)) stored in a cupboard when they are not in use. Please note, the ceiling height in the Pavilion is 2.3m and therefore is not suitable for the majority of Bouncy Castles, please see the Hall Hire T&C’s for more information regarding Bouncy Castles.

The Main Hall has 3 floor to ceiling windows with doors that open on to the patioed terrace as well as a smaller window facing out on to Longacres Way. The garden can be enclosed using the gates along either side of the garden, but they cannot be secured so adult supervision will be required at all times.

There are 5 individual toilets with handwash basins in the main entry way and two of these are accessible. One of the toilets also has changing facilities for children under 12 months.

There is a small kitchen with service hatch through to the main hall. There is a fridge, kettle and microwave available for Hall Users, along with 30 mugs for serving hot drinks. Please note, there are no cooking facilities at the Pavilion. Hall hirers are asked the leave the kitchen in the state they find it.

There is free WiFi available for Hall Users available through a Guest Network.

The car park attached to the Pavilion is a ‘pay on entry’ car park and is managed by Sippi in conjunction with Chichester Community Development Trust. All hall users will be required to pay for parking and please contact Sippi or CCDT directly if you have any questions about car parking.

Hall Hire starts at £20.00 per hour with a minimum booking of 3 hours.

Bookings are available between 7:00pm and 10:00pm on Fridays, 8:00am – 10:00pm on Saturdays and 8:00am – 8:00pm on Sundays. For regular bookings, or full weekend hires, please contact our Head Office team via info@teddywilf.co.uk for a quotation.
