Teddy Wilf’s @ Shopwyke

We are extremely excited to announce that Teddy Wilf’s Nurseries have opened our 5th nursery this year! Teddy Wilf’s @ Shopwyke launched in October 2025 and offers a forty-four place day nursery for children aged 3 months to 4 years.

The Nursery is based at the Shopwyke Lakes Pavilion on Longacres Way (also known as The Clubhouse) and are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 5:30pm, 50 weeks per year (only closing for 2 weeks at Christmas, Bank Holidays and up to 5 Inset Days per year).

We will have two separate rooms, one for our Under Two’s and one for our Pre-Schoolers. Both rooms are large and airy with lots of natural light. Our Under Two’s Room is able to welcome up to 12 children and our Pre-School Room can welcome up to 32 children.

Teddy Wilf’s @ Shopwhyke is a hybrid pack-away setting. Our Under Two’s Room will remain set up permanently whereas our Pre-School Room will get set up on a Monday and then packed away on a Friday. This will allow the Clubhouse to be hired out on Friday evenings and weekends for local community use including children’s birthday parties, table top sales, family events and much more.

Our Shopwhyke Nursery will be accepting all Early Years Entitlement Funding including the Local Authority Funding for 2 year olds, the Universal Funding for 3 and 4 year olds, and the funding for eligible Working Families.

Please note – we are not offering Term Time Only places at Teddy Wilf’s @ Shopwhyke so children will be required to attend throughout the school holidays (except the Christmas Holidays). This means children become settled in a consistent routine and do not have large breaks in their nursery attendance (which they often don’t understand and beg to go in any way!) and it avoid the unsettled periods following the school holidays. This means that instead of accessing 15 or 30 hours per week over 38 weeks, children would be able to access 12 or 24 hours per week over 50 weeks. That means you lose a few hours per week but gain an additional 10 weeks of childcare per year!

We are accepting Registrations for Teddy Wilf’s @ Shopwhyke, and we have released our Fee List and Term Dates for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, however, we have not yet booked any Inset Days so these dates will follow in due course.
