Teddy Wilf’s @ Tangmere
Our Tangmere Nursery is a pack away setting based in Tangmere Village Centre, Malcolm Road, open from 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks per year (only closing for 2 weeks at Christmas, all Bank Holidays and 5 Inset Days per year).
Our Under Two’s Room provides full day or half day care for up to 12 children from 6 months to 2 1/2 years old; offering a large, airy, open plan learning environment. Our Pre-School Room provides sessional care for up to 20 children from 2 years to 4 years old; offering a Pre-School learning experience for children, helping to prepare them for School and the challenges beyond.
We will have 3 full time Early Years Practitioners based in our Under Two’s Room and 4 full time Early Years Practitioners in our Pre-School Room. The teams are supported closely by their Nursery Manager Jasmine as well as the Nursery Directors Rachael and Megan.
All Staff are all involved with the day to day running of the room and spend their time having lots of fun with the children whilst taking detailed observations of the children, assessing their development, planning for their needs and next steps and supporting them where necessary.
We provide mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks, water bottles and nappies within our prices and all Parents will need to provide will be a packed lunch each day (depending on children’s sessions) and a bag with at least one complete change of clothes!
Please note, for children accessing Early Years Entitlement Funded places we do ask for a Voluntary Consumables Charge to cover the cost of these items, or Parents can provide their own snacks, nappies, wipes and sun cream to keep their place completely free of charge.

Ofsted
Teddy Wilf’s @ Tangmere’s last Ofsted was in May 2025 and we were awarded a ‘GOOD’.
The Inspector praised our excellent relationships with Parents, the relationships between our Practitioners and their children and children’s independence within the Nursery. The inspector wrote:
“Children develop close relationships with other children and readily involve staff in their chosen activities. For example, children initiate a game of duck duck goose, showing that they know the rules. Their enjoyment is infectious, and more children and staff join in, extending the game and children’s enjoyment.” Ofsted Report, May 2025
